Grade 7 students from St. John XXIII Catholic Elementary School in Unionville recently participated in the Learning Partnership's program, Investigate! Invent! Innovate! This program is designed for intermediate students and integrates science, technology, mathematics and engineering.
Working in teams, students investigated various science and technological principles, invented a new product, and created a prototype using scientific principles they had studied. Students also learned how to bring the new product or service to the market.
The Grade 7 students joined other schools at the Central Invention Convention at the North American Centre to showcase their inventions and innovations.
