Earlier this month, senior drama students from Sacred Heart Catholic High School in Newmarket embarked on a five-day unforgettable journey to New York City.
During their stay, students visited Radio City Music Hall, the Lincoln Center and experienced Empire State Building views, Staten Island Ferry, Times Square, Central Park, and the 9/11 Memorial museum. The drama students also enjoyed watching two Broadway productions, Fuerza Bruta and Matilda, and participated in a professional Broadway-led workshop.
The excursion was led by Teacher, Rose Myler and Supervisors Sandra Viola and Jason Scott. Next year the Sacred Heart Drama Department hopes to plan an excursion to Hollywood!
