UNITED the Super Hero shares Bullying Prevention message with St. Edward students

Superintendent Nancy Di Nardo and Principal Mireille Walter pose with UNITED the superheroThe York Regional Police super hero, UNITED, recently flew into St. Edward Catholic Elementary School in Markham to deliver a strong bullying prevention message to students and staff. The message was that a community united with the police must work together to prevent bullying.

UNITED, the superhero, explained to students what it means to be a HERO:

  • Help to make a difference
  • Encourage others to do the right thing
  • Respect yourself and those around you
  • Offer help to those who need it
