Good Shepherd braves the wind to plant trees and shrubs

This morning, students and staff from Good Shepherd Catholic Elementary School in East Gwillimbury, braved the strong winds and cooler temperatures to plant trees and shrubs in their schoolyard. Students enjoyed caring for and connecting with their school grounds by planting trees and shrubs and putting down mulch to protect them. There was excitement in the air as all enjoyed caring for nature and disconnecting from technology.

This initiative was done in partnership with Lake Simcoe Conservatory Authority.
