St. Augustine students host successful business luncheon

The Grade 12 Business Management Class at St. Augustine Catholic High School in Markham recently hosted a Business Luncheon, showcasing their organization, leadership and business management skills.

The students planned every aspect of the professional luncheon, which had approximately 200 guests made up of school board members, business leaders, peers, parents, and school staff.  The event featured inspirational guest speakers and compelling entertainment that integrate the theme of the luncheon, "The Pursuit of Happiness."  The students also integrated Social Responsibility into the event, through a fundraiser they organized in support of Project Hope, a campaign launched by Cardinal Thomas Collins to assist with the settling of refugee families within the GTA.
