Almost 200 students participate in model United Nations

UNYCA stands for the United Nations York Catholic Assembly and is a model United Nations assembly where approximately 190 students acted as delegates from countries around the world and debated current events and passed resolutions. This educational event included exciting debates about global issues and the opportunity for students to develop their communication and negotiation skills. Following the debates, each "UN Council" recognized student leaders who excelled during the day. The theme for this year's UNYCA was, the Power of Spirituality in a World of Conflict. It took place at the Catholic Education Centre in Aurora.
