St. Joan of Arc Students Volunteer at Good Shepherd Refuge Centre

Twenty-three St. Joan of Arc CHS students from the ESL department, along with two ESL Settlement workers spent the day in service at the Good Shepherd Refuge Centre on Thursday May 21st. Students were welcomed into the centre by Volunteer Coordinator, Sister Joan and given a tour of the facility, giving a thorough explanation of the services provided by the shelter to the homeless. Students partnered up and made beds. It was a very rewarding day for all in attendance.
