Meet three rising hockey stars from Aurora

YCDSB congratulates Katerina Dajia, Olivia Reid, and Morgan Graham from St. Maximilian Kolbe CHS who were recently signed at respectable universities so they can continue their hockey careers.

Katerina, Olivia, and Morgan played together on St. Max's hockey team, which made it to the Ontario Girls High School AAA Championship's quarterfinal round in March, but lost in a thrilling overtime game to the team from Medway that took home 2017 gold medal. The girls also helped the St. Max Mustangs get to the championship round the past four years.

Katerina DajiaKaterina Dajia will attend Dartmouth University in New Hampshire, USA. She received a scholarship to play hockey and will study Biology or Neuroscience. Read an article about Katerina in the Aurora Banner.

Olivia ReidOlivia Reid will attend St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick on a hockey scholarship.  She will study Criminology.

Morgan GrahamMorgan Graham will attend Michigan State University in the USA to play hockey.  She will study Electrical Technology.

In March, four boys from St. Max's football team were also signed to play football at Canadian universities.
