St. Ez Production of The Little Mermaid to run April 5 - 8

poster for Little Mermaid productionSt. Elizabeth Catholic High School's St. Ez Productions is proud to present the musical production of The Little Mermaid, which will run from April 5th – April 8th at the YCDSB Centre for the Arts, which is adjacent to the Thornhill Arts High School.

St. Ez Productions is a group of talented students and staff who put on an annual theatre production at St. Elizabeth CHS, home of the York Catholic District School Board's Regional Arts Program. Its shows feature live orchestras, elaborate sets, and cutting-edge lighting and sound, all coordinated in-house!

Its production of The Little Mermaid is based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories and Disney's animated film. It is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner, Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater and a compelling book by Doug Wright, this fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs, including "Under the Sea," "Kiss the Girl" and "Part of Your World."

Under the Sea Opening Night Gala for St. Ez Production of The Little Mermaid

St. Ez Productions will hold an Opening Night Gala called, "Under the Sea" before the first production on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 6 p.m.  to 7 p.m. in St. Elizabeth's cafeteria. Everyone is invited to attend the gala which will include refreshments, children's activities, performances, and a photo booth.
