SMK students and staff donate winter clothing to homeless shelters

This winter, approximately 60 students and staff from St. Maximilian Kolbe CHS in Aurora travelled to downtown Toronto to visit a number of shelters for people who are homeless to donate clothing, hats, mitts, and scarves, as well as sandwiches that were prepared at school. The response from the community was overwhelming and the visit to the shelters was inspiring. Students, staff, and patrons of the various shelters were all moved by the emotional experience. To wrap up the trip, the St. Maximilian Kolbe students and staff visited the Toronto Homeless Memorial at Trinity Square.
